Welcome to Domidian! A roleplay server with a completely unique and large map 2.0.
Server is on new host so please find us again in the list as you cant see our server online in favorites.
Roleplay is key here, that drives the PVP, Bandits, Factions and Events. (Server started 17th of juli in in game winter.)
Be sure to look at the Map as there are a few building restrictions, marked red.
The banner can be cashed, F5 to see current players online.
Roleplay
What is roleplay? Well you are playing a character and not your self. But if this seems to hard for you just act like you are in medival times.
Remember however that players characters might be jerks, that dosent mean the player playing that character is a jerk in real life.
We encourage you however to go in some depth and here is some suggestions:
Make a basic back story, it really doesn't need to be that elaborate from start if you find it hard. You can build on it as you go. Though it can be good to have an idea of who your character is and where he or she comes from. Main thing is that you have the feel and picture of who your character is. Other people will build their interpretations of who your character is depending on your actions. Obviously you are going to have some skills, and no matter how mixed this can be a part of the story of you. As the story of you is also something that progresses over time, your character might break free from a past life to live a new.
What do you want to accomplish in life?
What is your past, your heritage, your joys, your sorrows?
If you are a group/guild why are you together?
Is there a united belief, goal, what do you as a group want to accomplish?
Do you share a history, or are you possibly related?
Why is your leader your leader? What is his/her title?
Well there can obviously be a lot more questions one might put to one self when creating a character or guild, it sort of depends how in depth one wants to go.
If you need help with roleplay or want a custom back story, or are an experianced role player and want to play a very special role; ask a GM.

General Rules
Be sure you scroll all the way down!
⦁ RP is required when interacting with other players.
⦁ This is a UK/US server so please speak English to people both in local and in global unless its to your own guild members.
⦁ Offensive character naming or unfitting rp names is not permitted. That goes for claims aswell.
⦁ Uproot stumps when you cut down a tree, this reduces lag.
⦁ Do not build tree walls.
⦁ Do not deconstruct unfinished buildings, carts and so forth that are not yours.
⦁ Adhere to the laws of physics no stacking, no floating objects.
This includes stacking of any kind to climb up walls.
⦁ Platforms are allowed to be used to cross defensive ditches or mouts.
⦁ Wall jumping with horses is not allowed (even if they eat kangaroo grass).
⦁ Red zones on the map cannot be built on nor can you claim cover them, scuh as certain clay pits and mountains.
⦁ Use only shovels in clay pits, no pickaxes.
⦁ One character per player. Only GM's may have special event characters.
⦁ Do not push other people's horses out of claims.
⦁ When logging off, please store your horses as this reduces lag.
⦁ Players may not 'pray home' on another claim.
⦁ No recruitment in global. Explore the land and talk to the people in rp.
⦁ Players may not join a guild or faction with the sole intention on stealing and then leaving.
⦁ Do not metagame in global chat.
⦁ No trading in global, no ravens or pigions. If you want to trade you can see who is online and then travel to that person.
Communicating on this server

What is and what is not allowed in global chat:
"knocking on the gates of -claim-"-ok
This is to alert people inside the claim, and let them know someone is at the gate/at claim. This makes more interactions possible.
All other comunication in global cannot have any repercussions on any in game situations that can effect events.
"Oh I hate bears, got attacked again, so tired of them!"-ok
"Dont trust -player name- he just lied about the alliance."-Not ok.
Do not rage in global, if you have an issue ask for a GM in global or contact one on discord.
Also no outing characters in global or in discord.

Out of game comunications:
If you are alone in the desert, and surrounded by your sworn enemies. You cannot have your friends working in the feild back at your claim act on your meta information. How would their characters know you are in the middle of the desert surrounded by enemies?

When comunicating in game in local chat:
All comunication shall be in character,RP.
The only exception to this is in situations you cannot control, like your bladder in the middle of a long RP discussion. For non in game comunications use brackets (brb toilet).
Survival

If you wish to yell in game so your local chat carries farther. Start your sentance with an exclamation mark "!Hello"
If you are having a problem with bandits rally the troops or get help from another claim. Bring the fight to them or why not set a price apon their head!
Also if you dont a have a wall yet and are scared of looters during judgment hour, pay a house or ask an ally to help guard your home. There are several ways with dealing with threats, cooperating and training together will increase the chanse of victory.
Also, if someone is robbing you and you dare not fight or think you cannot escape, yeild!
If you are starting out and have few skills, why not trade in labor time at another claim, or trade charcoal.
Combat
Be sure yo scroll all the way down!⦁ You may never attack a monument.
⦁ You can start a conflict at any time but you may only attack a claim once every 24 hours. This means no camping right outside waiting for them to come out. There should be an RP reason behind any agression however.
⦁ Do not kill yielding players.
⦁ Leave a claim if you are asked to do so, claim players may remove you by deadly force if necessary.
⦁ Players may not 'pray home' during the course of a conflict or dispute.
⦁ If you are going to wage war, each party concerned needs to talk with a GM, wars are large scale conflicts and GM's need to be aware of them and clarify to each party the rules to avoid confusion.
⦁ No attacking offline claims at war time.
Death
⦁ All in game deaths are considered severe injuries. RP death of a character happens in very specific situations. Like if there is an execution or public duel between two leaders and so forth. Then the killed player cannot continue to exist, and will need to take screen shots of stats and a gm will add stats to a new character.
Bandits:
⦁ Only GM appointed bandits may rob people.
⦁ If a bandit tries to rob a player off claim and that player is AFK, if the bandit dosent get a reply from RP within 2min the bandit may knock out the player.
⦁ Bandits can only attack a settlement once every 24 hours.
⦁ All full-time bandits will have to join the bandit camp: no renegade bandits.
⦁ Bandits can attack anyone multiple times off claim. If the victim is killed the bandits must wait 30 minutes before they can initiate a dispute again.
⦁ Bandits will always have to RP before a fight. And non bandit players, if you run away when they try to RP you are basicly opening up the situation for a fight.
⦁ If someone yields then the bandits will knock the victim unconscious (they may not kill the victim) and take one item and it will probably be the most valuable.
⦁ If you are killed in your claim, you respawn at your own risk as Bandits will want to loot you and if you come at them again attacking you might die again.
Judgement Hour:
⦁ Judgment hour is one hour a week where claims no longer are protected, apart from gatehouses, warehouses ect can be looted by anyone.
⦁ JH is however not paralell universe hour, all actions still taken could have rp consequences.
⦁ You are allowed to kill on sight on judgment hour.
⦁ No stacking objects that cannot be moved in front of doors, like tanning tubs.
War:
⦁ Each parties involved in war need to contact a GM.
⦁ JH can be activated for war, however JH for war is only for thouse involved in the war. If other players not involved in the war use the JH functions during that time, like looting claims they will be BANNED!
